President Uhuru Kenyatta has revoked the appointment of David Kimaiyo as Kenya Airports Authority Board Chairman.
The President has now appointed former Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Julius Karangi to take over the position.
Karangi has been appointed as the the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya Airports Authority up to January 1st 2018 with effect from 24th June 2016.
The former Inspector General of Police was appointed as KAA board Chair in December 2014 after he was forced to resign as police boss following a series of terror attacks in the country.
Philip Nzamba Kitonga will now serve as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Council of Legal Education for a period of three years with effect from June 24th 2016 while former Rarieda MP Raphael Tuju will serve as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Lake Basin Development Authority Board for a period of three years with effect from June 24th 2016.
Former Changamwe MP Ramadhan Sief Kajembe has also been appointed the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya Ferry Services Board for a period of three years with effect from June 24th 2016.
Other appointments include; Angeline Yiamiton  Siparo as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the National AIDs Control Council for a period of three years, Noah Katana Ngala as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya National Library Board for a period of  three years, and former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Agricultural Development Corporation Board  for a period of  three years with effect June 24th 2016.
Wakoli replaces the late Soita Shitanda who held the post until his death.

NACADA boss John Mututho has been appointed the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Transport Licencing Appeals Board for a period of three years with effect from June 24th 2016 while Dishon Atemo has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Youth Council for a period of three years with effect from June 24th 2016.
